From July 1 to 3, Digitalmens took part in the Water Resources and Energy Systems Conference 2026, organized by ENEA. Three days of dialogue with the people who face the real challenges of water and energy resource management every day.
At our booth we met researchers, utility managers, engineers, and decision-makers working on concrete issues: maintenance of distributed infrastructure, emergency management, and consumption optimization. With them, we shared live demos of XRSUPPORT and our custom AI algorithms, showing how they integrate into these scenarios to reduce response times and operating costs.
Hundreds of conversations over three days left us with one certainty: the sector needs technology that works in the field, not just on paper. That’s the principle that has always guided our work: tailored solutions, developed together with the people who use them every day, built to hold up outside a slide deck.
It’s no coincidence that XRSUPPORT drew the most interest at our booth. In a sector where every intervention on a plant or piece of distributed infrastructure comes at a cost — in time, safety, and resources — being able to guide a technician remotely through extended reality changes the rules of the game. This isn’t science fiction: it’s what we demonstrated over these three days, and it’s the direction we’ll keep investing in.
Technology doesn’t save the world on its own. But in the right hands, with the right tool, it makes a difference. And we’re convinced that XRSUPPORT is that tool.
Thanks to ENEA for the space and for organizing the event. See you at the next one.
